Rocha is a hub for bus travel between Montevideo and the Brazilian border. Rutas del Sol goes to Montevideo and Punta del Diablo via Rocha.
If traveling by car from Montevideo, take the Interbalnearea route. At the roundabout take Pan de Azúcar (Ruta 9) and stay on this road until you reach the entrance to Punta del Diablo. Buses from Montevideo leave from Terminal Tres Cruces. Check departure times at the terminal as timetables change during high-season.
A taxi service is available 24 hours a day or you can take the local bus which leaves from outside the police station. Punta del Diablo is a small coastal town, so you might prefer to explore it on foot.
