Getting There

Most travelers take the ferry between Montevideo and Argentina, with bus combinations to Colonia del Sacramento.

From the port at the foot of Av Roosevelt, Buquebus has services to Buenos Aires including daily ferries (2.5hr) and high-speed buqueaviones (1hr) - literally 'flying boat'. Ferryturismo's catamaran (1hr) goes daily. Immigration is also at the port.

Bus is another option. Colonia's terminal (cnr Artigas & Av FD Roosevelt) is near the port.

Getting Around

Local buses leave from Av Gral Flores to the Camping Municipal. Bicycles and mopeds can be rented in the port area; try Viaggio Renta Car.
