    Fun old Barbour's General Store is packed with the kind of merchandise sold 100 years ago, including old stoves, drugs, hardware and candy. Alongside it, the Little Red Schoolhouse is a small museum that's also bound to provoke memories. To get a peek through the Dutch door ask at Barbour's. They don't let people in any more as it's full of hornets!

    Wedged between North and South Market Sts is this sense-stunning, bustling market, which has been home to wheeling and dealing since 1876. Apart from the fresh produce stalls, which are at peak activity on Saturday when local farmers arrive, there are numerous counters selling a range of delectable prepared meals and foods, even lobster.
