Valparaíso has a varied, sub-tropical climate with temperatures averaging 28°C (82°F) during the warmer months. From late April to early October, the mercury drops and the days are peppered with early morning humidity and plenty of rainfall. July and August are the coldest months, though Valpo's position by the sea keeps the temperature from dropping too far.
