Siem Reap is hot and steamy, with a classic tropical climate. Temperatures range from high 20s (low 80s in Fahrenheit) in the 'cool' season of December and January, to high 30s (up to about 104°F) in the hot season (April and May). The rain kicks in around June and falls thick and fast through August and September. The wet season isn't such a bad time to visit, unless you are considering visiting isolated areas where travelling may get a little more difficult as the rain tends to come in short downpours.
