Belize City is hot and humid, day and night, for most of the year. During the cooler months (December to March), average lows lurk around 21-23°C (70-73°F). During the warmer months (May to September), the mercury averages 30°C (86°F). The dry season (December to May) is a good time to visit. The wet season (June to November) is also hurricane season, however Belize has traditionally been struck by its most damaging hurricanes in September and November.
